What is Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia?

In its most elementary form, Phi Mu Alpha is a national fraternal organization of men who share a love for music.  There are 217 official chapters, 14 colonies (potential chapters), and 9 Alumni Associations found across America.  We currently hold 5,014 Collegiate Members in Good Standing, with more arriving daily.

These figures are found on page 2 of the Jan/Feb 2008 issue of The Red and Black, the official publication of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

What is a Sinfonian?

At it's most elementary form, Sinfonians are members of Phi Mu Alpha.  As Sinfonians, we are expected to live our lives respectfully, graciously, manly, all while sharing our love of music.  We are not an "honor society" but a true Greek organization with Ideals and Secrets which are shared between brothers.  We welcome anyone to our meetings (during select times), and we encourage anyone to ask a Brother about what Sinfonia means to them.
